The light draft brought knowledge
A steady dose of truth riding in
On waves of cool air desperately
Trying to warm itself in the morning sun.
The small birds sang
They sang there under the blue sky
Ignoring all the noise from the street
Singing in spite of the obnoxious.
The irresponsible speed of society
Played no part in controlling
The vibrant colors of the tulips
From stretching out in the light.
The almost silence holds many answers
There in the spaces tucked in between the noise
You can find everything
But hardly a soul stops to look.
